We are a Johannesburg based coach builder specialising in converting vehicles to ambulances, emergency service vehicles, mobile clinics, camper vans, mobile offices, pathology vehicles, police vehicles, security vehicles and other custom vehicles. Our conversions are all customised to suit our client’s specific requirements and we draw on our team’s operational experience within the emergency services to assist in achieving the optimum solutions thereto.
The company was established in 2002 by Mr. Jonathan Greenhill and Mr. Jonty Rosenthal. The team has been involved in the manufacture of emergency vehicles since 1992.
The company is today still owned and operated by Jonty. The balance of the team is made up of trained and experienced ambulance and specialised vehicle craftsmen and women.
The company is registered as a Closed Corporation incorporated in the Republic of South Africa. We comply with all legislative requirements involved therein.
Our clients include IPSS Medical Rescue, Midlands EMS, Swaziland EMS, Maponya 911 (National), Medi Response, ACE Air & Ambulance (Zimbabwe) Emer-G-Med (National), Avis Fleet Services, South 32 (National & Accross border) Lonmin (National), Anglo (National), De Beers Mines (National), Netcare 911 (National) Debswana Mines (Botswana), Hatzolah Medical Rescue (Johannesburg) and South African Police Service (Crime scene management), Gauteng Health Services (Forensic Pathology Service), amongst others.
We are also able to do a variety of ambulances, utility vehicles, mobile clinics, mortuary vans, wheelchair ramps, mobile offices, tool vans and mobile workshops.
We are registered with the South African Department of Transport as a body builder (MIB), Motor Industry Bargaining Council (MIBCO) and have NRCS (SABS) approved Homologation on our converted vehicles.
Our vehicles are built to the highest quality standards utilizing only high grade materials and fasteners. Our client’s safety and comfort is of paramount importance to us. We are constantly consulting with members of the relevant industries and monitoring international and local trends to continually upgrade our products and services.
All our conversions are completed under 1500 square meters of secured workshop space, with 28 cameras, armed response, electric fence with interior and exterior sensors. We also have patrols and external cameras with offsite monitoring.
We are currently completing our ISO9001 accreditation and should be registered soon.
